Confident. Supported. Ready.
Welcoming a child into the world is one of life’s most profound moments. It is a time full of anticipation, emotion and important decisions. At Keyajee Ayurvedic Clinic, our Virtual Birth Preparation Consultation is designed to give you personalised, evidence informed support that prepares you physically, mentally and emotionally for a positive and empowering birth experience.
Led by Vaidya Seema Datta, a certified childbirth educator and Ayurvedic pregnancy specialist with over 25 years of clinical experience, these sessions bring together Ayurvedic wisdom and modern birth education from the comfort of your own home.
Whether you are planning a hospital birth, a water birth or a natural home delivery, we tailor our support to help you approach childbirth with calm, confidence and clarity.
We give you a clear picture of what to expect from the early signs of labour right through to active labour and delivery. Knowing what is happening at each stage helps you feel aware and in control rather than anxious or caught off guard.
We share safe, natural ways to manage discomfort and stay centred throughout labour, including:
We also provide guidance for those considering medical pain relief, helping you make informed choices that feel right for your birth preferences.
We help you put together a thoughtful, realistic birth plan that reflects your values and wishes. Whether you are hoping for a natural birth or a more medically supported experience, your plan will help you feel prepared and in control on the day.
As birth approaches, mother and baby remain deeply connected, communicating in quiet, instinctive ways. The mother holds space with love and trust, while the baby senses the time has come to begin the journey outward.
In this gentle unfolding, the baby leads the birth, guided by nature’s rhythm and the mother’s steady presence. Together, they create the conditions for a safe, empowering and even joyful birthing experience.
“Birth is a journey the baby leads with the mother holding space.”
We also help you prepare for the early postnatal period, offering Ayurvedic guidance on:
High-risk pregnancies need extra care and attention, and we are here to provide exactly that. Our approach is thoughtful and strategic, giving you direct access to expert guidance without the stress of frequent in-person visits.
We keep a close eye on your health throughout, making sure every aspect of your care is covered. Our support goes beyond the physical. We are also here for the emotional and moral side of things, because navigating a high-risk pregnancy can be genuinely tough and you should not have to do it alone.

EXCELLENT Based on 20 reviews Posted on Google SejalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Seema is truly a gifted healer! Her magic hands worked wonders on my back pain, providing relief that I had been seeking for a long time. What sets her apart is her deep knowledge of Ayurveda and her holistic approach to healing. She doesn’t just treat the symptoms—she gets to the root of the issue with care, wisdom, and compassion. I felt genuinely heard and supported throughout my treatment. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for natural, effective healing.Posted on Google Rekha PatelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have taken part in 2 digestive resets run by Dr Seema. I started with the Autumn reset and then followed this up with the Spring reset recently. These were online so I was able to create practices which stemmed from the home and that formed part of ongoing daily routines. Using recommended herbs, recipes, meditations, timings etc. these resets allowed for daily WhatsApp group advice and monitoring so that they were tailored to our individual constitutions. Having the WhatsApp group meant participants had a forum for sharing knowledge and understanding together the process. Dr Seema’s approach is very supportive and she shares her vast knowledge and wisdom helping us to understand the Ayurvedic approach to balance our bodies and minds. On the Spring reset, after a few weeks I also had some in person follow ups and this was very useful and beneficial as she provided digestive tune up massage and energy healing. I have noticed my energy, sleep and skin has improved over this time. I am very thankful for her personalised approach and deep interest in helping us all. Thank you!Posted on Google Freddie HarrelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Seema was a true godsend during my pregnancy. I was suffering from debilitating hyperemesis gravidarum and excess amniotic fluid when a friend recommended her, and I’m so so grateful. She brought me back to life, cared for me throughout my whole pregnancy and 4th trimester. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Seema enough. I'll honestly never forget her warm and loving energy, and all she did for me and my family during such a difficult time. 💖 (Oh I’ve also finally got my IBS under control thanks to her teachings! 😆)Posted on Google Alka RuiaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am so grateful I met Seemaji! She has helped me over time to understand the principles of Ayurveda and this has led to huge awareness of my body. We have done a couple of detox retreats and I feel lighter and more energetic. Can’t thank her enough for helping me lead a healthier life! Seemaji’s healing has also helped calm me emotionally. Knowing that she is just a call away is very reassurance. Thanks so much for all your help. 🙏Posted on Google Mehek PremjeeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When I first approached Dr Seema, I had no idea how she would become such a key part of my journey to motherhood. Dr Seema's Ayurvedic Pregnancy & Postpartum Programme was simply amazing. She has an incredible ability to read the body's energy, and an intuition to know what's going on and exactly how to help. I started working with her during my final 6 weeks of pregnancy. Her stomach massages kept me so comfortable, reduced bloating and improved digestion. The foot reflexology treatments that targeted different organs was fantastic. During our 2-hour sessions, she would work on whichever part of the body needed it using Ayurvedic techniques. Leading up to the delivery, the mindset work she did with me was fantastic. This is the bit that surprised me, as I wasn't expecting to gain so much from this. It was subtle, and so effective. I felt so much more positive and prepared, especially in connecting to my instincts and trying to do things the natural way as much as possible. I was texting with her throughout my labour, and she was there for me 100%, being very helpful in navigating what the doctors and hospital were saying, and was willing to drive down to London to help me through my contractions in person. We then began the postpartum treatments the day after I returned home from the hospital. Dr Seema's magic continued to work - my recovery and healing was so speedy and seamless thanks to her targeted and effective methods. This included massages to help the uterus shrink back and to flatten the stomach (it worked), bringing me different herbs and teas to take at different points in the 40 days of postpartum, organising a portable steam & sauna tent that I set up in my bathroom, a cotton belly wrap to end the treatments with, and of course more mindset work around how my delivery went, and support with my new baby and being a new mom. All in all, I couldn't recommend Dr Seema enough. You can't put a price on good health, and it is without question that I will definitely be relying on her for baby #2.Posted on Google kate knapTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Seema is very knowledgeable, kind and warm hearted practitioner. She is patiently answering all the questions and guides you through your pregnancy journey. All the meditations are lovely and peaceful. I would strongly recommend Seema to all future mums and any woman experiencing any hormonal issues.Posted on Google Ana belen Moralo minguezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I will always be thankful to Seema. I have no doubt that if my second daughter is here, it's thanks to her. I hired her as a doula when I started to learn about Ayurveda. Also, being alone with my partner in the UK, I wanted extra support. She helped me slow down in life and understand that I needed to enjoy that moment (I regret I didn't listen to her earlier). I was so busy with my new job and my one-year-old. I thought she didn't understand my situation, but it was me who didn't understand. One of her resources was meditation. Thanks to one of them, my daughter finally turned around, and thanks to another, my water broke while I was at the hospital. I finished the meditation with her, and 30 minutes later, I was in labor. The midwives were surprised; they couldn't understand how my labor went from slow to rapid in just 30 minutes.Posted on Google pembe wrightTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing results I feel so much better! I recently did an online Ayurvedic reset retreat which included a special diet and Ayurvedic herbs. Seema has a wealth of knowledge and guided us individually as well. We had meditations and group discussions morning and evening for five days and joined the community group WhatsApp so felt very supported at all times. Will be joining the next one!!Posted on Google Louisa SorrentinoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ll forever be grateful for all the help & support that Seema gave me during my fertility journey. Not only does she have such amazing knowledge in Ayurveda, she is also a truly wonderful, kind, generous and funny person to have shared a part of my life with. So thank you, Seema!! I’d highly recommend her to anyone.
