Keyajee Ayurvedic Well Women Clinic is run by Dr Seema Datta to extremely high standards, and welcomes everyone, including pre and post natal women.

Women’s well-being is a dimensional process that unfolds into many different cycles throughout a lifetime. Our experiences, relationships, the environment, our diet and external stresses can affect the appearance of a woman’s health; leading to physiological, mental and emotional conditions.

Dr Seema’s goal is to assess your constitution and the nature of imbalance, and along with you, create a customised program for your own healing. Dr Seema will guide, educate and inspire you on your journey back to optimal health and well-being.   Feeing unwell or below par can affect your social life, relationships, career, and sense of self-worth and purpose.

Depending on the nature of your imbalance (and the level of your commitment to make changes), it can take anywhere from three to twelve months to completely restore balance.

However, most people start seeing noticeable shifts in their health and symptoms within a week or two of implementing our recommendations. In the beginning it is recommended that follow-up appointments occur on a weekly or bi-weekly basis in order to sustain the momentum of the changes. At this time you will discuss the treatment plan developed for you including dietary recommendations and guidelines, lifestyle practices and this is then followed up by weekly follow up visits, where we will review your progress, integrate more therapies and practices as appropriate, or make modifications if necessary.

These visits may also include one on one Ayurvedic cooking classes, massage or time to learn simple ways that you can feel more healthy, balanced and vitalised.   The Ayurvedic process covers diet, natural remedies, lifestyle practices, rejuvenation and detoxification processes, hands-on therapies, as well as meditation and the principles of living well in order to have healthy minds and bodies.

This clinic is ideal for you if you have a specific concern such as irregular periods, pelvic pain, urinary problems, breast problems or menopausal symptoms or perhaps you are suffering with skincare problems such as Psoriasis, eczema etc. then a bespoke programme will be created for you.

Ayurveda translates as ‘science of life’ and has been a traditional treatment in India for over 5,000 years. The belief is that our mind, body and spirit are intrinsically linked by three energies – pitta, kapha and vata – that flow within us. Optimum health and wellbeing occurs when these three energies, or ‘doshas’, are in balance. For most of us, however, one dosha will normally dominate at any given time and when this is the case, everything about us, from our moods, to the foods we crave and the condition of our skin will reflect this.
